5 Reasons Dog Owners Are Switching to a Wearable Towel

"Read this BEFORE you buy another dog towel!"

TL;DR: The VOFFINO Drying Coat is a towel your dog wears. It keeps soaking up water after you let go – so your hands, your couch and your car stay dry.

Sound
familiar?
1. Your car, couch & floors stay dry

You know the routine: your dog shakes in the hallway, runs straight for the sofa and leaves paw prints all the way there. Then come the damp car seats and the pile of wet towels in the wash.
With the coat on, the water goes into the coat – not into your sofa cushions, your car seats or your rug.
⚠️ What a wet dog does to your couch
A wet dog on the couch looks harmless. Here's what happens after you wipe it down:
💧 The water goes deeper than you thinkThe cover feels dry after an hour – but the cushion and seat foam underneath can stay damp much longer.
👃 The "wet dog" smell moves inIt comes from yeast and bacteria that live in your dog's fur. Water releases the smell, and fabric soaks it up – so it comes back on every humid day.
🦠 Damp padding is where mold startsThe EPA advises drying wet materials within 24–48 hours to prevent mold – and notes that upholstered furniture can be hard to dry completely in that time.
$1,800is the average cost to reupholster a couch in the US.
Your dog just wants to curl up next to you after a walk. The coat lets them – without the damp couch, the smell or the bill.

A towel,
not a coat

2. It's a towel your dog wears to dry off – not to keep warm

It looks like a coat, but it's made of soft, absorbent towel fabric. It isn't there to keep your dog warm – it's there to get your dog dry.
Put it on after a bath, a swim or a rainy walk. It soaks up the water from your dog's fur, and once your dog is dry, it comes off.

3. One coat for every wet moment
Wherever your dog gets wet, the coat goes on:
- 🚗 In the car after a hike or a trip to the beach – the seats stay dry on the drive home.
- 🛁 In the bathroom after bath time – no wet dog racing through the house.
- 🚪 In the hallway after a rainy walk – slip it on before they reach the couch.
Tip: keep one by the front door and one in the car.

4. No more chasing your dog with a towel – the coat does the job

Slip it on, close the straps – and let go. The thick microfiber keeps soaking up water while you take off your shoes.
5. It fits small and big dogs – from 9 to 99 lb
A regular towel barely covers a Labrador, let alone a Malamute. The coat comes in five sizes, picked by your dog's weight and chest:
- XS 9–17 lb · chest up to 21 in
- S 17–28 lb · chest up to 27 in
- M 28–55 lb · chest up to 33 in
- L 55–77 lb · chest up to 39 in
- XL 77–99 lb · chest up to 43 in
🎨 Choose from 5 colors – so every dog in the family can have their own.
Between two sizes? Go one size up – or email hello@voffino.com with your dog's weight, chest and breed and we'll help you pick.
Fair question: does it really dry my dog?
The coat doesn't dry a soaking-wet dog in seconds. What it does is keep a towel-like layer around your dog after you let go – so the water goes into the coat instead of onto your floors and furniture.
- Dripping wet? A quick rub-down first gives the best result.
- Thick or double coat? Just leave it on a little longer.
